Terms of service

The short version

  • These terms are for Postbroad and this website. Postbroad is provided by Postbroad, Latvia.
  • You decide what goes out. You are responsible for what you post.
  • Postbroad is free to use for now. Nothing is ever charged without your agreement.

Your account

You need an account to use Postbroad. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Your content

Your posts and media stay yours. You allow Postbroad to store them and to send them to the networks you choose, because that is the service.

Networks and app keys

You connect each network with your own account, and for some networks with your own app keys. Postbroad never provides an app or an account. Each network has its own rules, and you must follow them. A network can limit or stop an app or an account, and that is outside our control.

Agents

An agent you connect acts with the access you give it. Each agent or connection has a mode: draft only, needs approval (the default) or auto within a budget. You are responsible for the mode you choose and for what an agent sends under it.

Price and payment

Postbroad is free to use for now. If paid plans start, we will email you before anything changes, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Cancelling and closing your account

You can stop using Postbroad at any time. In the app, Settings, then Data and deletion, lets you export your data and ask for your organization to be deleted. What we keep, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Postbroad to:

  • send spam;
  • post anything that breaks the law or a network's rules;
  • get around our limits or a network's limits;
  • reach, or try to reach, another customer's data.

We may suspend an account that does.

Affiliate program

If you join the affiliate program:

  • You earn 20% of what each customer you refer pays, without tax, for their first 12 months from their first payment.
  • A referral counts when the customer signs up within 60 days of clicking your link. The first link they clicked wins.
  • Each commission is on hold for 30 days, then payable. We pay by hand once a month, by PayPal or bank transfer.
  • A payment that is refunded or charged back earns no commission, and we take it back.
  • No self-referrals: your own sign-ups and your own team earn nothing. No paid ads on the Postbroad name, and no spam.
  • We may end the program, or your membership, after telling you first.

Liability

Postbroad is provided as it is. Networks can change or block their APIs at any time, and we are not responsible for their decisions. As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which is nothing while Postbroad is free. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and if you are a consumer in the EU, your rights as a consumer stay.

Which law applies

The law of Latvia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country you live in.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.
